Anyone for Tennis? Strawberries and Pimms are synonymous with the start of ‘Summer’ in Britain. At the beginning of July we find that the tennis is well underway at Wimbledon. Our favourite Tennis Player is from Dunblane just a few minutes along the A9 from here. As a tribute Perthshire Preserves has produced the ideal match to go with your nice cup of tea or even better a glass of Pimms whistle soaking up the tennis. I always watched it on an old portable TV in the garden, a jug of Pimms and strawberry & cream scones at the ready. Wandering indoors later on to make a pot of tea. 
The Strawberry Jam with Pimms is a lovely combination of the two. We have added a generous measure of Pimms no 1 cup. 
This lovely preserve is only available for the duration of Wimbledon which as you know finishes on 10th July. You can get yours at Perth Farmers Market this Saturday, Aberfeldy Farmers Market and Stockbridge Market this Sunday. You can also come & find us in Stirling at our Kitchen on weekdays. We will also be at Stockbridge next Sunday (make sure you come out before the game to get yours)
